It’s been so beautifully cloudy and overcast here in sunny Arizona that I was inspired!
Get your head in the clouds with this adorably puffy cloud ragdoll crochet pattern.
It’s the perfect size for a chair, a couch, or a bed. And it brings the right amount of dreamy whimsy to any room it’s in.
Remember the Mini Hearts Crochet Pattern from last week? This cloud is the perfect pattern to pair them with.
Let’s get crafty!

Notes before Starting:
*This pattern is written in U.S. terms.
*This project is worked in rows to produce two panels that will be crocheted together to create the unique 2D look of a crochet ragdoll pillow.
*Your total stitch count will be in parentheses at the end of every row. This will help you to keep count of your stitches and make sure the finished product looks right. Chains and Slip Stitches do not count as stitches.
*I recommend crocheting over your yarn tails where possible to make less work of weaving in ends when finishing off your work. You can find tutorials online or follow the instructions provided.

When Panel 1 is complete, Finish Off and weave in ends. When Panel 2 is complete, pull up a loop. Do not cut yarn.
Layer the panels together with Panel 2 on the bottom. Chain 1 and push your hook through both panels to Sc the panels together. Crochet around the entire outside of the cloud. Stop about 5 inches away from the starting point and stuff the cloud firmly. Continue Sc around, Sl st into the starting Sc.
Finish Off and weave in all ends.
Optional: Create a cloud rainbow mobile
Make 5 Mini Hearts in whatever color you like. You can find the pattern here. I used Caron Simply Soft in Watermelon, Sunshine, Strawberry, Lime and Grape.
Measure out 5 lengths of white yarn, about 18 inches long. Attach the yarn to the top of each of your hearts. On a table or large flat surface, arrange your hearts where you want them to be when the cloud is hung up.
Using your tapestry needle, stitch the lengths of yarn to the bottom of the cloud. Weave in all ends. Ta-Da! You have an awesome cloud wall hanging to decorate a nursery.
Get crafty and have an awesome day!
